Pasadena Community Coalition

The Bay Area Council on Drugs and Alcohol was awarded funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services to build a youth substance abuse prevention coalition for the City of Pasadena. The Partnership For Success grant is a five-year program seeking to reduce the progression of substance abuse in underserved, high-need communities in Texas.

Goals of coalition:
promote emotional health,
prevent the onset underage drinking among youth and young adults ages 12-20
prevent misuse and abuse of prescription drugs among youth and young adults ages 12-25
